Attaining Basically Everything in Attribute-Based Encryption: Simplifying the Design of Practical Schemes via Pair Encodings

My thesis looks at how attribute-based encryption (ABE) can enforce fine-grained access control in practice, using the pair encodings framework to simplify the design, implementation and cryptanalysis of ABE schemes. It also introduces two new schemes, GLUE and TinyABE, that offer flexible efficiency trade-offs, along with a generic transformation for chosen-ciphertext security.
Supervision
The thesis was written under the supervision of dr. Greg Alpár (daily supervisor and co-promotor), and prof. dr. Lejla Batina and prof. dr. Bart Jacobs (promotors).
